Look up your batch.
The batch number is printed on the label of your bottle or tin. Type it in and you get the jar it came from: which oil lot, which herb lot, when it went on the shelf and when it was bottled.

How the log works
Three numbers, written down before the jar goes on the shelf.
Herb lot
Every incoming lot of dried botanical gets a lot number when it arrives.
Carrier oil lot
Every carrier oil gets a lot number, recorded from day one so the traceability promise is true from bottle one.
Batch number
Every bottle gets a batch number. If something goes sideways we can tell you which jar, which week, which shelf.
Preview build: the batch table here is sample data held in data/batches.json. In production it is generated from the batch log the bench keeps — a CSV in, a static JSON out, no database to run.
